| | | Here I present you with some shots from the December meet. I've been applying things which I've learned from my past critiques, and my shooting habits have much improved since. Up and at 'em! 1. ISO 400 f/5 1/100 s 2. ISO 200 f/8 0.3 s 3. ISO 200 f/8 0.6 s 4. ISO 200 f/8 1 s 5. ISO 200 f/8 1 s

| | | I like #2. It would benefit from shooting completely straight on to the wall as it is slightly off kilter. Also maybe cropping out the right hand part so you just get the wall without corners.

| | | I think they look good. Try playing with angles in the photography. Based on these photos, it seems you are always straight on with your subject. Next time you go out, try a low or high angle or something from the side. Play a bit, its digital, its not costing you anything to experiment.

| | | 5 is a really cool shot, but it would be better if it was centered, or cropped to be centered.

| | | if you're shooting with a tripod, why use high ISOs? Not that I suppose it matters much, just curious I suppose.

ISO 200 is the lowest I can go on my Nikon D40. As for the first shot, I was standing outside and just wanted to take a quick snapshot to document the place, so I was using 400. It didn't occur to me until after what potential it had.
