The Southern Ghost/Scary Thread

Alright, so I know at least one person agreed with me on this in an earlier thread, so I'm gonna start it. This is the ghost, or or otherwise scary shit thread. If there's one somewhere, I couldn't find, so here we go.

What is the scariest shit you have run into?

Have you ever experienced other worldly things in an abandonment? etc....

Scariest place you've ever been?

I guess I'll start, unfortunately without pics, but the scariest place I have been was in a VERY old cemetery in a town near London, England. I'm not much for ghosts and what not, but that place had a very strange vibe that didn't sit right with me or my friends. We hopped on a train in London and just sorta got off where ever looked cool, which happened to be some hole in the wall, with a few buildings and cemetery. Nothing much happened, but that place creeps me out just thinking about it.

Lame story, who can out do me?

I saw something once that I couldn't explain. It really freaked me out so I stood there for about a minute until I figured it out. Then I continued on my merry way.</skeptic>

I get the occasional heebie-jeebies exploring, especially when by myself but I don't ever attribute it to a ghostly presence. I tend to believe it's natural fight or flight survival instincts. Also, cold spots are also completely natural in my opinion - especially in a building that doesn't have good air circulation. Don't even mention orbs.

As for the aliens, that would be pretty sweet.

The metal blinds in the baker hotel near the main elevator entrance. When the wind hits that thing just right in the ink black darkness it sounds like an army of zombies busting through the walls to come get you. It got me the first time I went good enough to make me beat my previous vertical leap record from high school.

I took this photo on the way home from a 14 hour long binge drinking/gambling session at a casino. I assumed it was something written on the wall inside when I looked at the pic in my viewfinder, but that section of the wall has nothing on it. Well, that's a lie. I was fairly sleep deprived, so there could have been all sorts of shit written on the wall. Either way, I'm 98% sure that this was the ghost of Patrick Swayze. The Roadhouse version, not the one from Dirty Dancing.

I believe this entity originates from the age of Pac Man, tragically murdered by the invention of video game consoles.
