New Year's fireworks

These shots were taken on top of an abandoned silo building. We watched the NYE fireworks from there.

They're quite dark, but as I try to brighten them, noise appears. Also the color is a bit too orange.

Anyone got tips for me?

Try shooting with a larger aperture. Your EXIF says that these are f/18 at 30 seconds, ISO 100. At 30 seconds f/11 or f/8 would have yielded much better results. Also, for fireworks, sometimes it doesnt hurt to up the ISO and down the shutter speed. That way you get the same exposure but there will be less of a mess of fireworks. Experiment and see what you like better.

To get rid of the orange cast try a different white balance. If you are shooting in RAW this shouldn't be much of an issue.

grit your teeth in the face of fear. self repression is the true sign of a coward, toss your inhibitions to the wind.

I'll keep that in mind next year.

Just tried it in Ps but it gives a lot of noise. Also the fireworks change of color and loose a lot of details. I think I'm gonna leave the photos as they are, they're not that bad after all.
