Congrats on the new camera!

14 is my favorite of the set.

Crop 13. While the selective focusing produces a neat effect, there's too much blur. I found it distracting.

There's a great deal of stuff to work with in this building, at least from what I see, just be careful with your composition. I know it's your first dslr so it takes time, but look out for lines and symmetry for your shots. Six could have been a neat shot if taken from a different angle. The texture of the floor and the blues of the walls are captured well, nonetheless.

keep shooting!

Nice. Number six really stands out to me. The lighting is beautiful and that is one well-composed lonely chair party.

reckless thoughts abide; anachronistic and impulsive.

loosely jacketed against the cold and ten thousand worlds for the choosing.

It was like that too. Well most were in the box still, some were thrown about. We had to really look for letters tho

Congrats on the new camera, and I like the set. My only gripe is with 13, the blur is a bit distracting. Otherwise, good shots.

A few questions though - what type of filter are you using, and are you using the kit lens?

Thanks and yeah i agree with you about 13. Yes I'm using the kit lens (18-55). I'm also using a uv filter, I had a polarizing filer on top that. So my guess that's what my problem was lol.

Heh, I've never been a fan of double-stacking filters. To be honest, though, I like the rounded corner effects.

Lots of awkward composition but still some energy to the shots. Good subjects all the same.
