Lookin' for some opinions

So this is my second critique on this forum, the last one went well for me and I got a lot out of it, so I figure why not throw some more into the fray. Been shooting for 6 months now

All images were shot at ISO 100, and either F/5.6 or F/8.

1. Just tried to capture the "essence" of the place, was a cool moat in the centre of the room that had frozen over into a little skating rink, it was -8C, was a wee chilly.

2. Found this in crazy condition John Deere trailer and I found it really photogenic, this place has been abandoned for the better part of a decade now and it just sits there. I know the lighting closest to the trailer gets a little wonky, I'm still figuring out how I'm gonna fix it in post.

3. I love finding old books and stuff and trying to find dates on them, this one was printed May 19th, 1998.

4. I decided to try doing some "form?" in this shot, just thought the symmetry of the trailer would make for a nice shot, I'm thinking I should have focused on the front instead of the back looking at it though, maybe I'll try that next time I'm there.

I guess that's all I the stuff I want critique on right now, have fun and be as nit picky as you'd like.

4 is definitely the best of the set, and I think you made the right choice for focus. In the others there just isn't much thought to composition. The first one I think suffers from the pillar in the middle right of the picture, and in the second one the elements aren't arranged in an interesting way. The composition improves in 3 but it's not the most exciting subject. Other than that, it looks like your technique is fine.
