I think it would be neat to take a "musical UeR tour" of Detroit because there are lots of old theatres and old recording studio buildings still standing from the Golden Age of R&B and Rock music. Berry Girdy's old house, the Motown house, the Grande Ballroom, and I think Cobo Arena. Cobo Arena is slated for demolition so anyone sentimental about that place had better update their portfolio.
Just the sheer number of tenement row houses is impressive. And because everyone is looking for work it would be cheap to get these old houses fixed up. Somebody works and has money there so a marketplace does exist for old houses that have been restored. I've always been fascinated with Detroit on this and other levels so here's my "Ramma Lamma Fa Fa Fah" for the big D.

What's in Detroit besides cheap abandoned houses and 500,000 people looking for jobs?

uhhhh thats a new one on me.
it's still in full operation and they just approved a large sum to fix it up for the Auto Show later this month, and it is being transferred from Detroit's control to the control of a regional authority
