| | 13 Photos from the past year. < on 8/22/2009 6:27 AM >
| | | Hi all, I'm still kickin' around. I've been mostly lurking lately but then I realized that it's been almost exactly a year since I posted anything. Here's some images from some of the places I've been in the past year, well I guess more accurately in the past two months. I'm not sure what happened to the rest of the year... I did lose my job. Twice. So that put a damper on things a bit. But I'm back in the ranks of the gainfully employed and trying to get caught up on my freelance work so that I can work on the fun photos. Here's a few of them - These first ones are from a house I found north of McKinney a little bit. I had to wade through an acre or so of weeds that for the most part were taller than I am. But it was worth it when I found the piano inside. The truck was really cool, but I've always wanted to find a piano.
Nothing like Kraut and Old fashion
After walking through that acre of weeds, I had these tiny burs plastered this thickly over my entire body - I was like walking velcro, every time I'd lean over to take a picture my shirt would stick to my pants, then get all bunched up and stick that way. Yeah, that got old real fast.
I've driven past this next one for years and have never been able to stop until just recently.
Just passing through...
And one from a great old cabin I found in Idaho just south of the Montana border.
That's all for now. I'll try to show up again before another year goes by. [last edit 8/22/2009 6:30 AM by what - edited 1 times]

| | | I love love love the first one. It looks like a vintage photo that you might stumble across in your attic or at a flea market.

When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store. |

Damn, I don't know if I'd even want to bother trying to save those jeans. Is there any way to get those off other than picking them one by one?

Yeah, take em off and use a pocket knife to scrape the off. Just don't let them get in your yard or you might have a bumper crop of them there.

| | | I actually did toss the shirt I was wearing - it was one of those pique polos and the burs were just not coming off. The jeans I put on the floor of the garage and took the broom to them. Though I ended up cutting off the bottom where they were frayed. [last edit 9/1/2009 4:04 PM by what - edited 1 times]
