I took some pics at the last UER meet. There are two shots in particular
that i was trying to fix contrast on, and here are the results of different
methods.
 
This image is a 9-shot HDR with no other effects:

 
For this image, I tried using HDR to get the contrast to equal out a bit between
the dark bridge and bright tree line, but if bridge details became visible, the
tree line would disappear. So instead I took one low and one high exposure pic,
layered them in photoshop and cut out all bridge details from the dark one:

 
Then I did both images in HDR with Tone-Mapping, everything really exaggerated:

 
Tone mapping was actually able to brighten up the bridge without killing the
trees, but in the expense of a "fake" look.
