| | | The loss of my tripod Kept me from taking the usual Urbex shots at midwest fest, but here are a few I'd like opinions on.
1. Horizon feels off, and the statues are centered, no nos.
2.I like this overall, but it seems like the focus is a bit distracting. Too much detail in the street.
3.Pretty typical rooftop shot, well actually I think I cranked open a window for this one.
4.same thing here. I'm just not really sold on the exposure and angles.
Hey yeah you, fat ass. Not interested. |

| | | 1. - Fix horizon and there isn't much you can do now but if you had a tripod it would of benefitted from a higher fstop and a longer exposure to blur the water ripples and stop the lights from getting blown out. It may be hard to find a happy medium though. I personally think that spot has alot of potential and you should go back and shoot it again. 2. - It doesn't really do anything for me. It isn't composed well and once again has a slanted horizon. 3 & 4. - Are cool and all but still not composed well. I think you should read up on the rule of thirds and get out and shoot more because these shots have alot of potential, just a few trivial mistakes bring them down. Also, always try and use a tripod for night shots and keep your horizons straight. Even if it means doing it in PP.

| | | my tripod fell a dozen stories or so and I just haven't had a chance to get a new one, or maybe I just don't feel like spending the money.

| | | Well if you plan on shooting at night more it may be a wise investment.
