Sweet! 1 ,2 and 3 are my favourites. I would love to drain some time, but here in belgium we do not have storm drains.

I've said it before, but you really are one of the best drain photographers around.

Whoa! 1,5 & 8 are my favorites. I have never seen shots of ice in a drain. Amazing.

I really really like the environment, very good opportunity for architectural photograph's. Did you take any architectural photo's without anyone in them?

Beautiful work! I am in awe of the lighting in these shots! I especially love the light in 1,2 and 4. Your shots make me want to try try draining.

I really like the last one (of the first set).

These are all great though. Especially since I've never really seen drain photos.

Just hang around a little while--you'll see enough.

@inventor- I dig the ice, but I think the silhouettes from last week are cleaner-looking.

These are fantastic! I love the silhouette effects in most of them. #3 in the second batch is my favorite. Awesome colors!

Thanks, folks.

Glass--The last set were from a solo trip, minus the last two shots. I take more time setting up shots when I don't have to worry about boring someone else to death taking too long. Thus, I often get better results alone, but that's not to say draining with others isn't fun.

Awesome shots man!

There is a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part; you can't even passively take part, and you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop...

90% of the lighting is achieved with my flash. I often use multiple exposures to fill in some of the dark spaces (like the ones where I appear twice)
