| | | are there any reported cases of our kind getting histoplasmosis or cryptococossis or any of those nasty sort of infections? I remember one time when i had been trudging around in some pigeon crap for a few hours with nothing but a dew rag over my face, and at some point i was sitting around on some cement that was dotted with it. (i was playing some epic portable videogames that were fitting to the location) and i learned about all the nasty things in pigeon feces the next day. i was scared senseless for a week that i had caught something, but in the end i didnt. i think the worst ive gotten is really hungry from too much strenuous exploration all night.

I'm still not sure what caused it. I didn't drink that much; and nothing that day. I went into two hospitals without a respirator before then. I didn't go anywhere that bad. But I did feel really sick before I passed out that night. It wasn't a nosebleed because I woke up with a horrible metallic-key taste in my mouth and normally if you get a nosebleed in your sleep it'll leave dry blood in your nostrils, which I didn't have. I had a horrible cough for the week after. It might have just been my lack of prior exercise, poor diet, and the rainy raw weather ... I'm thinking I might have caught pneumonia that cleared itself up.

I had a friend that was coughing up blood for like a month. Would not go to the doctor. I think it went away... You guys do some gross things (go to gross places I should say). I hope everyone stays safe.

Hey glad to see everything turned out alright, but portable video games while you were exploring? That's some crazy chit man lol.

| | | I got scraped on a screen going into a friendly local asylum in july. It was really minor and I didn't really notice. then the back my knee started getting all itchy and red. I went to the doctor and was misdiagnosed with a fungus infection and it spread to my entire leg. I went back and got some antibiotics. It cleared up but then came back. I got more anti-biotics but now it won't go away. I don't really know what the next step is at this point. I still have it.

| | | I was exploring an newer hospital in Wingdale, NY that my grandmother used to work at, and climbing through a broken window I had cut my thumb open. This was about a month and a half ago and the infection had just gone away last week. It was just a very small infected bump on my thumb, nothing too bad but that shit wouldnt go away.

| | | I think I had gotten a sinus/throat infection after exploring the Juggernaut. Could be unrelated, most likely is. I also got some drain related rash/bumps on my side, at least.. thats where I think they came from.

Think this is the nastiest one ive heard of so far and yes, portable videogames, cant say im going to do it again, psps cost a bit too much for me to want to have to replace should it get broken or fall to its death while im exploring.

| | | I cut my hand on something when I drove my car to a hospital and got it stuck up on a bunch of fallen trees I didn't notice while parking in the woods. I had to literally rip the logs apart by hand to undo them. I got what I thought to be a shallow cut on my left palm. There must have been some kind of bacteria in the logs because it took over two weeks for the wound to close up. And I still have a scar.

| | | I've never gotten super sick, although I do usually get a case of the sniffles or sneezes just because my sinuses are horrible as it is and don't exactly welcome the overwhelming amount of mold/dust/asbestos/whatever particles present in the air at most locations. The worst I've ever gotten was a severely swollen and sore throat, accompanied by body aches and a chill. It lasted for maybe three days. It sucked, but wasn't a huge deal.

| | | Got a really nasty cough and a few days off work after hanging out on a roof with active air-con equipment, might have been a coincidence but I've been careful ever since.

Jaggernaut, the drain? me and my friend felt similar symptoms after that drain too! I blamed it on cold wind blowing at me while in a car. Also, i had a stomach virus after parkdrive. It was a horrid experience. I try to wear respirator as much as possible now during trips. And btw, if social customs allowed, i d do it on a bus too=)
