|  | | | Around here, it takes too long for winter's chill to dissipate and I just don't have the patience to wait. So here's another set taken on a cold, very wet day, without a tripod. The place was absolutely awesome, and we totally enjoyed sneakin' up on it. We ran out of time though and are countin' the days until we can go back again. I'm lookin' forward to hearin' some honest opinions on these.

I really like them, I think you have the right ideas.
imho, I think you should get a bit farther away. For example, id like to see more of the jesus, and a bit more around it. In #3 the composition is excellent, but I think it would be even better if you focused on the glass and had a lower aperture number to get a larger emphasis on the glass and still have the building visible, but less sharp.
I say 9 is my favorite, you really hit the sweet spot.

I am the Bear - Thanks! I'm using a Kodak Z740. (it's all AF with a very small aperture range)
olivialyon - Thanks for the suggestions! I had a hard time with the Jesus pic. There wasn't much around it, and I had issues composing it with what was there. I tried a few other angles and I didn't like them much, but here's one that I didn't mind. The lock and Jesus are just too far apart and I'm not down with moving things I find.

yeah i supposed it was along those lines, i used to only have a nikon coolpix. but then one day i bought a holga and my life changed forever.

It's funny how some people are so offended by criticism. If you wish to shelter yourself from such hurtful words; I recommend sticking to MySpace where only your friends can comment on your mindless snapshots.
