Very nice photos, and your crappy camera takes better photos than MY crap camera. Seriously, some cellphone cameras worked better! But enough about that. You DO need some work on composition though, some of the pictures feel stiff, like #5 in set one. Maybe by moving the camera a little more to the left in that one to add a little bit more machinery to the shot without taking away too much of the foreground.

Also, and this is purely opinion on my part because of my preferences, I would have moved the camera to the right in #1 of set 2 to focus more on the graffiti. If the paint wasn't your focus, then moving the camera to the left to catch more of the shades would have worked as well. As the picture stands, my eyes keep getting drawn to the corner of the two walls, rather than either of the possible subjects in the shot.

And are your avatar and pic 1 of set one both from the same place? The grass looks similar in color and composition. Bet that face spooked the hell out of you!

Actually, my avatar is from the second half of set one. It was definately startling to come across! But I absolutely loved it and would've taken more pics if that freakin' train hadn't come!

I do appreciate everyone taking the time to give me some input. I know I will find a lot of it helpful in the future.

So the avy WAS from set 1! Awesome! And what was so bad about the train?
