Sadly, the moderators can't see whether you've ever donated, let alone how much. So, you could still try to donate your way in, but it would be a tad futile. You could also try urbex-related nudes. I don't know that it would help the FM cause, but everyone likes urbex-related nudes, right?

While I would love to be a full member, I'm not pressing the issue. It will happen someday. You don't need FM status to go out and explore.
Just be patient and continue posting, giving advice, taking pictures, and most importantly, getting out there and getting your feet wet.

This is partially good advice. Too many people join the site, and kind of keep secret about themselves, then they submit FM applications saying "When I get full membership I'll share a ton of stuff with you." No, when you're a basic member, that's when you need to impress us.
There are a few obvious things we look for in full member applications, roughly in this order:
1. Personal recommendations or strikes such as "I explored with this person and he seemed alright" or "I can vouch for this person because we've been married two years."
2. A post count that is not suspiciously low, especially for someone who's been on the site since something like 2003. We do not generally grant FM status to someone with 0 posts, even with good recommendations.
3. Posts with photos.
4. Helpful or contributing posts (more than one word, not in off-topic forums too much).
5. Non-personal recommendations or strikes, which may tip us off the fence one way or another.
(I'm probably missing one or two others here)
By the way, WarBird69, I'm having trouble figuring out why you haven't applied for full membership yet.

I am of female persuasion, maybe i should have updated my profile
i am doing my best to post positively and constructively
i did not do alot of exploring before i had my camera because hubby does not approve, and i like having proof i was there. I love having digital camera now. Sooo much cheaper.
I did not have alot i felt i could contribute before, because it seemed no one was down here where i am and i unfortunately am not in a position to travel to sites on the board.
of course i post a couple pics and everyone comes out of the wood work 
One question. someone (i have siv like memory) said that none of the places they had been were in the DB so he did not have to repost? So had you posted in the Forum before and or had you been able to post to the db before then because the sites were on public viewing?
