^^Good information except the liquid N2 part. If that did happen then the N2would evaporate almost instantly and the tunnel would be filled with gaseous nitrogen. Most of the air you breathe is nitrogen (78%) but thats not to say in this hypothetical situation that the concentration of N2isn't enough to not allow you to not get enough O2... Sorry [/ScienceRant]

Your right, having thought over that again i believe that it would just evaporate. i was kinda just baseing the idea off of a Haz mat call we had about 6 years back, where i tanker truck of liquid nitrogen actually did roll off a highway and spill in to a drainage ditch. there was enough liquid there to freeze the surrounding area so that there wasn't that much evaporation happening, or not at any pace that would diminish the size of a full drainage ditch. police was first on scene and one of the officers attempted to jump the ditch and landed a foot in the liquid, not relizing what it was. *he was trying to get to the driver* and his lower leg instantly shatterd with the force of him falling. Kinda a really bad thing.

The onsite fire departments where I have worked have always told us that, they will respond but it will be treated more like a recovery, and less like a rescue..... Comforting.

1) Thank you for the science rant... I was getting all warmed up for it too...
2) That's awesome in a really bad way...
