Why HDR Night shots?

Why HDR anything?

grit your teeth in the face of fear. self repression is the true sign of a coward, toss your inhibitions to the wind.

Your photos are awesome.

First set 1,2,3. I like the pattern and composition of the first one. The second and third are kinda muted, but in a bland way.

Last set: 1,4,2,3. I love the simplicity of the first. The depth is great, and the clouds on the right put the centering off nicely. I LOVE the stained glass in the last one. Do you have a picture that emphasizes that more? I like how in the 2nd, there is a different pattern in each area of the photo. The third doesn't really blow my mind in any way. Not bad, but doesn't have anything that really catches my eye.

I only have 1 that focuses on the stained glass at all from the set. And 2 that have some in it. Prob not what you had in mind but here they are.

I was taking a pic for portrait purposes and wanted him in the far right of that one shot.

Thanks for liking the shots.

I'm in love with the first one of the first set. The colors and detail are fantastic. Was it lit up with one of those orange yard/street lights?

Several orange sodium lights...those trees are along a wooden walkway on the university campus where I work, since there are many students walking around at all hours they keep that area well lit for safety.
