Collin Creek Mall Tunnels & Another Place (Plano, TX)

So today, me and the girlfriend decided to hit up two spots i've been before in Plano, TX.

The first in by Collin Creek Mall, they are sewer tunnels that travel underneath the parking lot. This was my 3rd time here, not much to see in there, but they are kind of cool at night. It is a series of 3 tunnels that start by La Madeline's and end by Jared's. In the middle tunnel there is a rotten surprise with an arrow above it, I will tell you that. If you haven't been here before and you are in the area, i'd say check it out, beware of the fuzz though, they tend to cruise by often in this area.

The second is a great abandoned warehouse/building. This is about my 3rd or 4th visit to this location and it really saddens me to see this place go to such shit, they ripped down the huge silos that once towered over the buildings. There was maybe 6 or 8 of them, great big white ones. It was fun climbing up those and watching the sun set, I know it sounds cheesy. My band used to practice across the street from this place in a place called Red Door Rehearsals, that was how I came to find it. It used to be an awesome adventure to try and get in this place, you had to climb the silos, jump across them, climb more, walk on thin pipes, crawl on broken rails, climb a huge AC unit to get to the roof, it was badass. I guess all good things come to an end eventually. Not sure what they have done with the inside, but there used to be a lot of room and old furniture and cool shit to look at. The roof was weak at parts, defiantly kept you on your toes the whole time, a fall into the building would probably mess you up for a while. Unfortunately it looks like this place is under some heavy construction/renovation... It also looks like the bastards that own the place now installed video cameras, this doesn't sit well with me. This used to be an amazing spot. If you have some balls and a flashlight, this place is also another great night spot.

Again, iPhone pictures. I apologize to everyone's eyes. Enjoy.

Wow haven't been to Collin creek in a long time.
There actually just drainage tunnels that run under the parking lots on both side of the creek. There are a lot more tunnels on the side opposite the mall and they run on for quit awhile. I spent to whole days down there once and I still didn't make it through all the tunnels.

Sorry the pics suck this is from back when I didn't have a camera so I had to use my ex-girlfriend's little point and shoot.

Nice warehouse any pics from the inside

Holy shit! I gotta check that out!

Nah, I have been only taking pictures that don't "Spoil" the location in my opinion, i've always liked being surprised and discovering the spot for myself, then afterwards i'll look at pictures people have took.

I think it's mainly because I no longer have my good camera, the iPhone has no flash.
