(Mid City) < on 12/29/2008 8:55 AM >   HI everyone, Just a heads up that the abandoned Pan American Life building (later the City Hall Annex) is inside of the area slated for eventual demolition to build a new hospital complex in New Orleans. The Dixie Brewery is also in the zone (bordered by Galvez, Tulane, Rocheblave and Canal.) The sad thing is that many people in that area have rebuilt their houses since Katrina and are now facing eminent domain, including the historic restored Deutsche House club on So. Galvez.
