'Floating' (small christmas post)

Last nights beers and present whiskey didn't stop me today - over hour with old friend. I always find it very amazing that there still can be found new ways to see things that I've looked already who knows how many hundred times. So here we go, again...

December (hdr):

Closing door (hdr+painting with red flashlight):

Welcome to the nightmare (hdr+Photoshop):

Floating (HDR):

Very nice!!

My favorite is "Welcome to the Nightmare"!

Pantie-creaming worthy. ;)

The nightmare one, personally, would be better if the angle wasn't quite as extreme.

[15:00:41] <SeeThirty> still better safe than lexi

I did actually first try to get more ordinary picture from there, but that staircase was so damned twisted that it just didn't work quite well (as can be seen below). Hard place to photo too, especially because I was shooting again with my little sisters Canon EOS 400D, in which you can't use backscreen to compose, so I did have to try to get my face to camera - in halfway of that rotten staircase with small space and tripod. It sure is one place that gives me creeps - stairs can fall down in any minute.

Situation really is that stairs are sloping other direction than walls and walls are sloping different direction than roof. Somehow that combination doesn't bother so much with that extreme composition. But maybe little less extreme angle would work better, have to try that some day.

Thanks for all, again.

I also love the one with the chair, as said above me, you worked the shadows well. The two door shots are almost like a before and after, leaving one place and entering another....well done.

You and me will all go down in history, with a sad Statue of Liberty, and a generation that didn't agree.

Thanks! That kind of shit always warms my mind, because after those I can pretend that there have been some kind of improvement what comes to my hdr's. And also it proves (at least to me) that hdr is opportunity, not curse. Thank you very much.
