| | | I like the blue, particularly knowing that you didn't post-process. The underside of the bridge in the centre is a touch soft but it's a very interesting picture.

| | | Great shot I agree that the middle of the bridge is a bit soft but since you shot at F/22 that may be lack of edge sharpness due to the lens being all the way shut? Nonetheless, I really dig the shot! Poster-worthy for sure. What do you think of Ektar film in general? It sounds like it could be a good alternative to shooting Positive film when I need a fast turnaround.

In a word, stunning. Your composition does an outstanding job of capturing the size of the bridge. On another note, I've been looking to purchase a wide-angle lens for my Canon (EOS 5) and I was wondering what you thought of the EF 24mm. Wide enough? How's the image quality in general?

I too would like to know what you think of Ektar film, I'm looking to do more color print stuff and would like to shoot on something a bit better than the expired Fuji stuff I have lying around.

Thanks I'm definitely going to see if I can get a poster sized print. The Ektar is nice, I'm still getting used to it and figuring it out, but its nice to be able to get it done at any 1 hour photo.

Thanks The lens is actually a Tokina FD mount lens, which won't fit on the EOS Its probably the easiest to find wide angle for the FD mounts, but as for the EOS series if its a full frame camera a 24 isn't too bad. If you can afford it, the 16-35mm f/2.8L is a nice EOS wide angle, but it is a bit expensive. The 17-40 f/4L is also pretty nice from what I hear, and a lot more affordable. It all depends on how wide you want to go, but for the FD mount, this was an easy to find inexpensive wide, although I really dream of the 17mm FD, but I have yet to find it...
