Bit of sharpness and this would be excellent. Now it is just good+.

When shooting a model under any conditions the model should always be the focus of the photograph. I find myself searching for the model in the dark in this shot and then when I find her she is out of focus with her her head down.

Try using the background to the fullest but not making the focus the background. Work on making every image a clean, crisp and sharp shot. I think your other set way far better than this one. Keep playing and you will find what you are looking for.

I half agree with you.

I think it should be a bit sharper, but for me, her almost obscurity is part of the message... the feeling that she's lost. To remove that element, in my opinion, would be to turn it into another banal model picture in a dirty building.

My very unprofessional two cents.

Yup, I would go for tripod if shooting in such spaces. It's always limited light (most cases) so actually some sort of support would be necessary. However, the photo itself is really nice - shows the isolation and sort of a tension.

Haha, such photography is actually my favourite - people in abandoned spaces.

I kind of wanted it to have the softer grainy kind of feel to make it feel almost like more of a dream nightmare kind of thing, i could see going slightly sharper now that I'm looking at it today though(now that I'm actually awake), going into it taking this picture I didn't really want a clean sharp picture, I did take some other pictures that are kinda more the same style as the other model thread I posted, just need some time to edit those.

I'm thinking this one would work better as part of a set that I think I am going to start working on, I have a few pictures already that can go with this one that i need to edit up some...

honestly the photo does not do much for me.

Perhaps if a bit more detail of the surroundings was there, or another position for the model, might grasp attention a bit better.

The lack of sharpness and darkness in this shot does help create a mood. well done.

I think it worked out well, i like the mood of the picture and sometimes a "perfect photo" isn't what you want.
