| | | Powerplant G (Coal fired) < on 12/2/2008 3:42 PM >
| | | While i was on weekend camping trip i met up with Telefunker, Steff and Simon. It was a gray day, i was already at the meeting point awaiting T, S & S, having a smoke and feeling not to good because the day before Simon and i where completely soaked by the unstoppable rain and my shoes where still wet. Fashionably late, T & S arrive. I'd spoken with Telefunker via email but never met the guy. It was 9.45, a car arrives, two guys get out, one holding a half liter can of beer. I like this guy already! Simon arrives too and we head of to powerplant G. A coal fired semi active powerplant with high security. This has it all; camera's outside, high fences, razor wire, security patrolling the terrain by car and by foot. Thanks to Telefunker and Steff who found a way inside earlier. It still took us an hour to get inside. We had to go through the woods, passing a small river twice, twice climbing a fence with razor wire and all of this in a jungle of nettles and blackberries just to get on the terrain. Then sneaking passed several camera's and hope security is not looking at the monitors for it's inevadible to dodge 'em all. The last 50 meters....we decide who's lifting the fence and in wich order we slide through to get in as quickly as possible. We run...we're in!! We hide for ten minutes in a dark corner to make sure no one has spotted us already and is looking for us. We're clear.
Enjoy this awesome decayed jewel of industry. Thanks again Tim and Stef for showing me around here! when: september 2008 with: Telefunker, Steff and Simon
