How many times has the inhabitants of a house prevented you from exploring it?

There's this real nice house I'd love to explore, but if the inhabitants of it caught me, I don't know what I'd say.

"Oh, sorry, someone lives here? I'm doing a report on the structural integrity of buildings at the university, so I wanted to get pictures. But I really should get going..."

"From down here, we can knock the whole wall down!"
"Duh, yeah, boss, but how do we get out?"

Wait....what? If somebody is still living in the house why would you try to explore it? Active buildings and industry are one thing, but you don't explore people's RESIDENCES. That's breaking and entering. Explain further what you mean, because right now it sounds like you want to break into people's houses to take pictures, and well, that's just silly!

On Angel Island there were some former military officer housing that looked pretty cool but it was occupied by park rangers.

Lol, it's a just joke, guys. Just trying to have some fun. I wouldn't really try to gain access to someone's house.
