|  | | | People like to believe in conspiracies, believe that they know more than the public. I don't necessarily trust the government, but they are not good at keeping secrets in the long run. The more people involved, the more chances for the word to get out, and people like to talk. In my view, the only way to keep a secret is to tell noone. Something like these secret internment bases, first you have the soldiers, than the supply lines (a lot of people), and the people who ordered it done. Now some of these people must have some morals and you can't keep everyone of them quiet. And we have a media system that has no loyalty to anyone, if bleeds it leads, once someone credible tells, it would be world wide news in a few hours with 1000's of questions being asked. Maybe some could be bought off, threatened, or just disappear, but with these large numbers the secret just wouldn't hold for long.
A few examples,
the stealth fighter-suspected in 1978, prototypes flew in 1977
Area 51-I knew it was at groom lake nevada in 1980, read story about how they tested the first U-2 there in the 1950's, Sr-71's in the 60's. With all the aircraft being tested there, its no wonder people see lights in the sky.
Got this and many other aircraft secrets just by talking to former air force officers, like I said, people love to talk even to a 10 year old who is just interested.

Because I looove a good conspiracy theory, I did a whole lot of research into the FEMA camp thing and I found out some truths and some tall tales, the true benchmark of a good conpiracy theory. Firstoff, most of this started after goo ol' Olly North spearheaded a rewrite of domestic emergency peacekeeping laws. There is a bunch of presidential executive orders(the kind that don't need any approval or oversight really) that outline what the federal government can do to you and take from you in the event that the shit hits the fan. It's something along the lines of " if things get really bad, we are going to do whatever we need to do to keep this government going".This is all true. What gets hazy is all the secret camps and other stuff. If you go to TEXTFILES.COM, you can research basically the origin of all of the good concentration camp theories. Some are dated pre-1980! the cool thing about the old BBS posts is that they all have seemingly high ranking government officials and other quotable humans that the internet-based copies lack. As I said, it's all entertaining none the less.
