|  | | | They sure dont want you going in here with the prison style bob wire fence and the 3 signs saying theres video camera's. Theres also someone staying there in the buildings to the right even though all the windows are boarded up. I was only stopped on the road long enough to snap a few shots out of my truck and those people let there group of big dogs out into the yard.... If anyone knows any history about this place please let me know !

This will give you a decent history but there is a ton of info on the web about the property. The current owner bought it and most of the related property about 3 years ago I think it was. HE spun out the adjacent land that has had homes built on them where several cabins used to be and now have some houses built on them and has slowly been rebuilding the place himself over the past several years. I went out not long after it was sold and spoke with him, he was a pretty nice guy and gave me a tour and filled me in on some of the history but apparently has gotten fed up with all of the tourist coming by. Can't say I blame him. The place is well known and probably gets a ton of traffic at times.
