Now there are boarded up potteries littering the area and the pottery is being made in Poland, China or Indonesia and still sold under the famous brand names such as Royal Doulton. This is one of the most well stocked potteries I have visited, it must have had stores of pottery built up from the 1940's, many of the items were printed with exotic sounding company names and lots were from steamship and ocean going shipping companies. There were whole rooms full of lids for pots or piles of teapots. All this just left. In the strongroom there were manuscripts and deeds for the buildings from the 1800's. Totally amazing, all abandoned, the end of another once proud family business. WTF! These two were in there too! Zero  Location: Where the drains are!
