Glad to see you have been able to get out! Highest hopes is beautiful.

A mirage is not an optical illusion. It is a real phenomenon, and one can take photographs of it. The interpretation of the image, however, is up to the fantasy of the human mind.

I agree with shellyl - Highest hopes is my favourite. How high did you climb?

Just that level under the control room, I did hate idea to climb that kind of ladders by 'one handed' with my camera as I did climb that high. Anyway I afraid high places, so it was kind of... I am surprise how easy it was after all, and I did even take photos there, so I did win myself or something like that, especially because by that moment I did have drink just one pint of beer...

I do like all the photos, but one thing that I noticed is that the first four pictures seems to be leaning left. First is the line of the window on the left. Second is more of the wall on the left than right. Third is tilted left and maybe four is too.

On their own they may be fine, but consecutively shown my neck starts turning. Also, in one and two it might be difficult to straight out the framing while still keep the background in line where you want it as well.

Though, I still really do like all the photos.

Damned, you noticed it too - I did look that too before I but 'em here, but I thought I did rotate them at least almost straight. Some kind of own photo blindness after going through mountain of photos today...

Anyway, I love my PowerShot S5 IS, but in wide angle... It works quite bad as you can see (I haven't even yet get on with improving that in Photoshop, lazy me).
