I can't imagine how miserable we would have been if we'd decided to dress up for that thing. I actually bought a white shirt, but decided not to wear it at the last minute. Eli wore a Wesley Willis shirt.

He wasn't interested in it at all in the beginning, but when our marriage started to fail, he tried it in attempt to spend more time together. He got hooked, and it seemed to help. For a while anyway.
We were talking about renewing our vows in Bannerman's Aresenal in NY; so obviously I think its great that Sara got married in an abandonment! My daughter explores also and is planning to get married next year. She spent loads of time looking into getting permission to get married in an abandoned castle, with no luck.

On another note I've done the romance in abandoned places and places being built but it's hard finding a lady who's down for that sort of thing. Hell, I can't get my current steady out to the beach at night (live in a beach town, it's only 10 min away).
Rock on with the abandonment wedding, that's bloody awesome!
