Thousands of dead people in a small room

I was fortunate enough to be able to gain access to the cremains library of an active asylum, this is still being worked up but I like the result so much that I thought i'd show a beta version

There are the remains of more then 6,000 patients here, going back to the turn of the last century. Patient rights laws requires the state to maintain them like this untill claimed (forever?)

Cool place to be.

What's causing the bulgy perspective? Is this a panorama?

I LOVE the effect of this shot. Definitely gives a certain "vast"-ness to it all. Greatgreatgreat.

A pleasant surprise! If this is the "beta" I'm looking forward to seeing a "final release"

I agree with CanoeGuru. Its a shame that these people will all probably remain lost and unclaimed

unclaimed....how cruel is that?
it must be hard enough to live your entire life in an asylum, at least their families could take care about them when they die. but no, they just dont care. i would never, ever do that to anyone i love.

nice picture though!

The pano makes it look kind of trippy to me, but in a good way.

What a creepy subject. I like it.
