Infrastructure: A Field Guide to the Industrial Landscape by Brian Hayes

This book looks really interesting! I'm thinking about ordering it. Has anyone here ever read it? Does it apply to UE?

I got it out of the library and read about half before it was due back. Yeah, it's pretty basic (like: This is a dam. Dams hold back water. Dams can be made out of dirt too, not just concrete! Here are some pictures of dams!) But I like that now I can identify some of the things I see when I'm just driving by.

It's a great book. Definitely pick it up if you can. I didn't find it all that basic. I mean, sure.. some parts are, but it's still a pretty in-depth book.

And of course it applies to urban exploration.

A Field Guide to Roadside Technology is another one to look out for. It's nowhere near as comprehensive, but it's cheap and makes for an interesting enough read.
