I think I might have caught a stomach bug of some sort after climbing through some waterfalls of runoff with some friends in my latest draining quest, becoming completely soaked in storm water, and almost certain that it was in our mouths as well. So, what (if any) stomach bugs have any of you caught due to our hobby?

Well first off, if you are a drainer you must automatically agree too the fact that the water you are in is full of bacteria, viruses etc. Too name a few:

Hapatitis has been found in run-off
Legionarres
West Nile

Here's a good article on storm-drain bacteria:

All in all I don't believe its anything too get scared about.

There is a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part; you can't even passively take part, and you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop...

i'm not scared... it was bound to happen sooner or later. As far as I'm concerned it's really not much different than rivers around here, and I've been getting sick playing in those since I was little. Oh well.
