| | Stripped to the bones ( panorama ) < on 6/28/2008 11:30 PM >
| | | I thought it was an interesting place. Kinda strange that it would be stripped down like this and left alone. Seems as if at some point, someone had plans to rebuild this place. This fisheye effect of the image is a bit much but otherwise I like it. What do you all think.

| | | This is a well done pano! The subject isn't that great through. Also it would look better if the sky wasn't so bright. Perhaps a polaroid filter would have been good? But, as is often the case with panos, I think this would look much better on a big print than on the computer screen.

I'm going to agree with LB but still I like it was there any clues as to what it used to be?

Yeah it is a lil' crooked.. hard to avoid when you shoot panos handheld, instead of with a tripod. I assume it used to be a railroad warehouse. It is maybe 50' from some dead railroad tracks and such.

| | | I actually really love the fisheye-effect in this photo, but I suppose that's just personal tastes. I guess I see the crookedness (only a tad), but overall and considering this was handheld, great pano!! [last edit 7/5/2008 2:57 AM by starberries - edited 1 times]

| | | Nice pano. Your stitching software should allow you to set your horizon to whatever you like, for straightening. G

Yeah I am still a little new to pano-photography, I need to figure out how to fine tune it a little more.

| | | I've just started using it, so I'm not much help. I do know it does have the tools to level the horizon, I just haven't had to use them as I shoot with panohead and always level first. G

Yeah a pano-head is in my future. You wanna point me in the direction of some panos that you have done? I'd love to see them.
