flickr allows you to upload tif files and they are converted for web viewing. And if you have a pro account ($25/year) I think it stores the original file so you can re-download it, which would save you a shitload of hard drive space.

I noticed that in the Listening thread. Seriously, though, was that really necessary? Granted, the man may rub people the wrong way half the time, but I've seen worse on this board.

I never met him, so I couldn't really tell you. But from what I've seen on this forum, it did seem like he made a lot of stuff up. I think it was that he agitated the wrong people for a long time, and they just had enough. Probably not ban-worthy, but shit happens. There have definitely been worse people on here though.
