Well...yes. The constant asylum postings are, well...constant. And, for that matter, one rusted-out hulk of post-industrial apocalypse is really no different than any of the other rusted-out hulk(s) of post-industrial apocalypse. These photographs offer something a bit more compelling than many of the others based on the same subject. So...post more. Please.
(and please include the technical details, e.g. f-stops, shutter speeds, ISO settings, etc.)

...the wings on my shoes shrank now the moths won't eat my kidneys, when i shake my state capital it only yields 3 fairy napkins, but how do i know my banana slippers are like water boats because when the moon winks it burns my hamster punches, and that's how you get to llama school rowing your canoe backwards up main street when the front bumper falls off, do mermaids get to drink orange juice? |

| | | This place is jut amazing! I got a chance to go back in February and had the time of my life. Only problem is the only way I could find to get in was through a guided tour so I couldn't get out there on my own and look at everything. Really wanted to explore some of the villages to the south just after the first checkpoint coming in.

| | | I read somewhere that it was best to arrange a tour locally. If you do a search I am sure you will eventually dig up some local tour companies. If i remember correctly, they provided you with an english speaking tour guide that would accompany you with a geiger counter through the exclusion zone. The tour company handled all of the permits.
It would be an absolutely awsome place to explore..

| | | lol i see vivid resemblance to Call of Duty 4, the pictures of the hotel and the Ferris wheel. If given the chance i would head there as soon as humanly possibly but i don't think the government wants 16 year old's running around up there

| | | Amazing pics man. Definitely some of the best I have seen. I've had pretty much an obsession with that whole area before I even knew what UE was. I'm planning a trip to the area next summer and was wondering if you could give me any tips or pointers. Anything you wish you had done different, recommendations, etc.

| | | *Massive envy* I really want to get there before they get the new sarcophagus put on. The new one they have planned will knock down the distinctive striped smokestack that really makes Chernobyl unrecognizable.

| | | Number 1 can be sorted due to making some small sacrifices to save a bit of money. 2+3 should be easy enough to overcome. Go on leave, go on holiday to Ukraine, go to Chernobyl. I'm fairly sure the Navy wouldn't stop you going on holiday to a friendly country. Or would they?

Two ways; 1. Form a secret alliance with the soviets - and get a note from your Mom. 2. Google 'Chernobyl Tours' and follow the 1 of 100 easy ways to get it done. TA DA! Chris...
We all had ostriches. My dad had an ostrich farm! I remember one day someone came in and said the high altitude bombing of Kosovo had been a limited success, so we all went out and celebrated… by killing an ostrich and boiling it in kiwi fruit. |
