| | | | while cel phone cameras are handy and convenient...(i have a pic of a lady who some how ended up parked on "top" of a fire-hydrant, taken with my cell phone) the quality of the image is poor maybe 2 MP...
Do yourself a favor and just go out and buy a digital camera, point'n'shoot cameras are good starter cameras, their compact and fit into a pocket nicely. You can get a decent camera for $150-$200, get something with at least 5 mega pixels (you wont need more MP's unless your planning on blowing up your pic's and making large prints). You dont need a camera with loads of fancy features, you probably wont use them and they increase the cost of the camera!
Spend some time learning how to use the camera and its features by reading the manual, dont just read the manual once, read it a few times so the information sinks in. also try experimenting with the different settings, your picture quality will improve noticeably over time... (not that your pic are bad...)
*advice*
-dont take pictures on angles, try to keep them horizontal or vertical, use a building, post, horizon, etc. as a reference.
-dont just snap away taking pictures, compose the picture in the viewfinder or LCD display then take your pic.
-a tripod will also help keep images clear, specially if your not using the flash
