Ohio Blizzard Pics

We got almost two feet of snow dumped on us here in Ohio this weekend.

01 and 02 were taken the night before the blizzard, just as it was starting to flurry a bit. 03-06 were all taken the afternoon of the following day, once the snow stopped. These were all shot around the vicinity of my apartment complex and a nearby old VFW post that's next to a lake/stream. For a good sense of how much snow we got, take a look at the top of that pickup truck.

Good to see more SW Ohio people on here. The snow was great, gave me a day off and it wasn't heavy to shovel. Alas the ugliness will return tomorrow. Dear God help us.

You betcha

We had about a foot down here, but had drifting snow piles as high as five feet in places like Louisville. Made for some fun driving experiences. I wish we had an OT Photo Thread... I'd post some up

A foot of snow overnight in a place that averages a bit more than that a year is quite a blizzard. We only have like 10 snow plows here.

I was too busy driving my truck around, switching it in and out of 4 wheel in order to do doughnuts to take pictures though.

technically it didn't even classify on the weather channel as a blizzard b/c it didn't meet the qualifications and foot of snow, 4 wheel drive hahah thats so normal, FOR SNOW!

There was over a foot of snow in Ohio, parts of Kentucky, and even down into Tennessee. 4 wheel drive was pretty much the only way to get around, and there was an official blizzard designation by the National Weather Service.

Anyways, these are some neat picture, and I really wish I would have had a chance to get some of my own.
