so.... does taking pictures in like 20 degrees have any effect on camera functions? it seemed like my camera wouldn't focus very good.
there is snow falling through the ceiling on the first one making it look weird.
i used a tripod.

i deleted the pics and reposted them using photobucket... did that help?

Cold weather has no impact on cameras except for shorter battery life.
1 Focus is off, try manual focus.
2 no real subject, light is to blown out. no composition
3 Better. needs a little crop on the left side and try shooting more straight on in this picture.
4 subject is to dark. and light is to blown out. also try shooting from a lower level, Head level perspective is boring.
5 needs composition. you should have tried to get the whole mirror and shelf in the shot.

What were you shooting with?

1. This would be great if it wasn't blurry.
2. I like this one but I agree with Brooks that there is no real subject.
3. Crop and rotate this one so that just the two windows are the subject.
4. Too dark, except for that bright spot.
5. I like it but it's blurry?

And you were shooting with a tripod??????

Odd

im shooting with an xti. i don't know what the fuck is going on. i know that i need someone to explain to me how to properly save/resize my stuff so i don't lose resolution. the bigger images don't look quite so blurry. the first one wasn't blurry at all before i resized it. it's a little fuzzy because snow was dusting through the ceiling.
and yes, i was using a tripod

I think in number one the fuzziness adds to the picture.

What you need to do my lady is get yourself a photobucket so you don't have to resize them to under 100k. That should help LOTS

Your pictures look a 1,000 times better now that they aren't linked.

I still think that they could use some work, some cropping and what not, but they do look better.
