| | | Inside a Mail Pouch Barn < on 2/11/2008 5:28 AM >
| | | Scattered across the American Midwest/Rust Belt are barns whose sides were painted with advertisements for "Mail Pouch" chewing tobacco. They've become such a part of rural culture that they've actually been declared historic landmarks. I recently moved from the city out to a smaller town, and there's a Mail Pouch Barn that I pass on my way into the city every day that I've been wanting to explore. Went out early Sunday morning just as the sun was rising to get these shots. Here's a larger thread with lots more pics of the place I posted in the regional forum: http://www.uer.ca/...d=1&threadid=52736 This is my first attempt at doing artsy-type UE photography. Have at 'em. (Taken on a Fujifilm Finepix A400)

| | | A lot of them are just too dark for me. Try with a longer exposure.
