|  | | | Ok so im exploring the woods by my apartment last sunday in the middle of Dallas and i find a coffin. A coffin in the middle of the woods in the middle of dallas.
To make Matters weirder i found a stolen car the very same day.
I called the cops on the stolen car but who do i call about the coffin, I know its been there a long time. I thinking Grave robbers form 20 years ago must have left it. Or that there might a have been a cemetery there, but i didn't see any grave stones. Im not sure what to think.
Ill see if i cant find any old maps on the web of the area.

| | | | there wasn't anything in it that i could see i didnt want to get to close or to touch it thats bad mojo. i guess they may have just dumped it with trash, but that just makes questions. i couldn't see any markings. If I go by it again ill take a closer look.
Its in a place thats very hard to get to so i dont know if a cop would go out there it was hard for me to get there which begs the question way its out there all the more.

Of course, there's a very good reason these days why someone might have an extra coffin...
As you may know, Costco started selling caskets a couple years ago (seriously, not kidding). So when a person dies, if their loved ones buy the casket at Costco, there'll always be an extra, because as with everything else at Costco...they come in a two-pack!

My guess, based on the state of the coffin, is that its occupant died some years ago, either from falling through a catwalk onto iron spikes, or an asbestos-related malady. A few years and necromantic incantations later, the decomposing remains managed to haul themselves from the earth, and stand free once more. Old-school, with long-dimmed incandescent torch in one hand, and manual film camera around neck, the revenant shuffled forward in its combat boots, then glanced back at the coffin that had held it. Cool coffin... has peeling paint...
