We visited this place a week ago. amazing! there's no vandalism, but a LOT of stuff! I'm going back tomorrow to shoot a lot more details.

here we go

the attic - loaded with old stuff. we found old diary notes dating back to 1934
01

the cabinets are filled with glasses, plates, etc..
02

an old hand size scythe
03

some old label for some kind of lactating drink for cattle wich you have to mix with either water or beer (wtf?!?)
04

the kitchen - i can't choose between these two - any suggestions?
05

06

All the herbs are still in the jars hanging by the wall
07

a rack to dry the laundry above the stove
08

the very small bedroom
09

livingroom / kitchen
10

Why do old ladies (99% sure an old lady lived here) always got scary dolls?
11

hope you enjoyed it!

thanks!

i agree with ya, atomx. 5 is a bit better than 6. But if these are printed and bigger i love the towels that are on 6 and not on 5, and the breadboard (??) wich has very nice the word "bread" written on it in dutch.

Definitely 5 over 6. It has much better composition.

What did you do in post processing for these?

Absolutely gorgeous. 02 is my favorite--it just looks so ominous and off-kilter. I prefer 05 over 06. 06 just looks too asymmetric with half of a doorway hanging off the right side of the picture.

Utterly fantastic work.

thanks all!

Was here yesterday to shoot and re-shoot some stuff. People have been inside, i i don't mean explorers. They did not trash the place, but a lot of stuff was taken. Like the dolls in the kitchen, some photographs and probably more (or soon more).

@ wolfheart: long time no see! what r you up to?

Great shots of a very nice find. Too bad about the dolls and other things. I have the 2 dolls that my great grandmother carried with her on the boat to the US. She loved them dearly but there are indeed very scary looking.

A mirage is not an optical illusion. It is a real phenomenon, and one can take photographs of it. The interpretation of the image, however, is up to the fantasy of the human mind.
