You might want to make those rubber boots and a hard hat, 'cause July includes subterranean adventures on Friday night.
If remaining above the surface is more to your taste, plan on meeting up Saturday. Mike has two locations lined up; one safe and easy, another more clandestine.
Mark your calendar now for Friday July 13th and/or Saturday July 14th. Meetup location will be announced soon.
The actual Meetup will be held at the crack of noon to please all you early risers.

Take the TRE from Union Station at 10:13 (That's the first trip of the day on Saturday). Arrive at Ft. Worth Intermodal Transportation Center around 11:15. Hope you brought a book, cause your bus (#1 Hemphill / La Gran Plaza) won't arrive until 11:45. Then you walk from Thornhill and Main. I won't be making it, as I work on weekends. Maybe I can make it Friday night!!

I am, of coarse, just kidding about attendance, but this event is what we make it. I'd like to convey that all are invited and welcome to attend.
If you have thought about attending but your concern has been "I don't know anyone there", then we have failed to communicate properly because that is the entire point of the event!
We don't aways have a big exciting exploration planed. If fact, the excursions following the meetup are usually very newbie friendly. Most of us prefer to meet and explore a public location and get to know you before we invite you along on our uber top-secret missions.
Also:
Who would be able to make it if we had a weekday evening meetup?
We have had at least one explorer tell us that Sunday would work for him, while Saturday does not. Are there more people who find Sundays better?
