Abandoned shooting range

There is this shooting range that I found which I was told was abandoned in the mid-70's when the city started to grow. It is hard to find and pretty out of the way if you don't know its there. I was exploring the general area when I stumbled across it by accident.

1. Dilapidated shack. Last time I visited it, it was collapsed. This is an earlier photo.

2. Inside view of the shack. There were about 8 huge rats running around in the rafters. I couldn't take a picture fast enough tho :(

3. Small beehive on the ceiling

4. Some weird mystery crystals behind the shack.

5. Dustpan on the floor which I took home as a souvineer along with some empty shotgun shells. *sigh* go ahead and yell at me...

Sure we can. We can put together a road trip to Monster's house and see it there. I'll get the van ready, everyone up for next Friday?

Dudette, if a dustpan stood out to you as a fantastic souvenir to collect & proudly display in your home, I think you're going to incur more sympathy here than anger!

Have you mounted it in a display case yet? ;)

Well I guess it would be dudette since monster is a Sugarland female. And to be honest I lost my dustpan and I would have probably taken it also..........SIN

Dunno. It looked a little like broken glass, but I dont think glass breaks like that. The crystals were in a pile, not attached to a rock, but when I first saw them, the first thought that came to mind was crystal meth, but its probally not that. I really have no idea what they are.

It makes me really happy to know that some people don't know what crystal meth looks like. That is very cool.
There may still be hope for humanity.

I'm a blatant waste of time and resources.
