They're all kind of boring. Read as much as you can on composition. The second one has potential with the reflection in the water, but the rest are just kind of boring. The first few also look a bit dark. What type of camera are you using? I can't see your exif info, because I'm not on my own computer, but I would say work on your exposures, and read up on composition.

I would have to agree with JuiceBox889 on this one.
Work on your composition. You lighting is off, and your angles are odd.
Don't give up, keep trying. This is the Critique section, so be prepared for this.
What did you shoot these with?

Well considering you are using a point and shoot, you didn't do to bad.

I actually think a number of these compositions are above average. Especially #1, and I think the underexposure actually works OK, its just that a "fire extinguisher" sign is a pretty boring subject.

Yea, just keep using your camera, and everything will come to you eventually. I'm still using a little point and shoot myself. Just keep shooting, shoot as much as you can.

thank you i agree about the fire extinguisher sign not being the most exciting of subjects however in that particular empty and half burned warehouse that was the only good thing i think i could do cuz i left my tri-pod in the car....big mistake

The first few are kind of drab, in terms of lighting, but I like the composition of the fourth and fifth -- and the lighting is improved on both. Great shots for a point and shoot!

And, because the title thread reminded me...

I'm looking forward to seeing your next pictures! ^^
Sorry if the comment seemed a little.. 'rude' or something lol. I always end up taking like a billion pictures of the same sorts of thing.. so I'm sure my shots arent so interesting either.. and on top of that I don't really have a great camera so blah! Your pictures are rather awesome quality. What camera(s) do you use? (I'm sure you've mentioned it somewhere but I'm too lazy to find out <.<)

Hey man, I was at this site on Saturday night. You picked a tough one to try and photograph. There was little there worth shooting in my opinion.
Shooting this place at night with that camera is super difficult. Good start. You've got the eye, just keep practicing.
Here's one of the few shots I salvaged from that location, but you never could've got this with your camera.

Shot from the roof, at the old Sea Worthy Canvas site. Nighttime, ambient light only. The charred remains of the building on the right and the crazy sky that night make for a surreal environment. 195 sec exposure at F4.0.

Saturday night, I used to go dancing at clubs, now I hang out in places like this.
