Wow,

Sorry but this has got to be the most poorly thought out thread and idea I have ever heard. It's bad enough there are people out there writing articles specifically mentioning UER, no understanding what we are all about and making us out to look bad ( Which I must say MANY of the people here do )
But besides that, COME ON! An ID? That would be like crossing the border and handing a "I'm a Terrorist" card to the border patrol.
Lock this stupidity now!!!!! Before it drops anyone elses IQ!

Let me tell you, if some kid gave me any kind of ID that wasn't 100% official, I'd be detaining his ass in a second.

The ONLY ID you should *ever* give to the authorities is your Drivers License, Passport, Birth Certificate, Age of Majority Card, Military ID, or anything else official - not something you whipped together in Photoshop.

It is a bad idea to tell the authorities that you are part of a community that is organized on the internet with the express interest of entering illegal places. It may be considered a conspiracy. It is a worse idea to hand the authorities a card that lists the website. They will then keep that card, and it will remind them to check the website. If they just wrote it down in their little notebook, they may not notice it again, however a business card / id card has a funny habit of 'hanging around' with the officer.

There is no benefit to the card, only added risk... why bother?

I think the answer is that not everyone has an awesome motorcycle, so those who don't have to find some other way to feel cool.

Wow, that was fast... were you just sitting around waiting for my reply?

Anyway, I had to sell the bike because I was always getting myself into trouble. I'll buy another one in a year or two.

You can trade it in for an awesome bumper helmet sticker.

Well there was no right or wrong answers to this question. Although I am a bit disappointed at some of the dumb ass immature responses. Most responses were very good and explained why and why not in a great way, but the rest were just sad, just really sad.

Well since this is the rookie forum and members are admonished to not start flame wars I'll provide you with some constructive feedback. Most of us are not inclined to call you stupid even if you post something remarkably stupid anyway.

Thats why its the rookie forum, and better than 3/4 of respondents to your poll so far said they would not give a UER card to the man if apprehended. So youve got a good sampling for one board at least

And youre "a bit disappointed in the dumbass immature responses"? I wonder what sort of responses you were expecting. I find it hard to believe anyone thinks its a good idea to flash the UE card but apparently, 24% here do. This is nothing more than a troll-bait thread designed to incite trolling.

I'll leave you with a question for yourself rookie: Are you fucking serious? Have you ever been stopped by the police for a traffic violation or anything? Would you really pull a card out like that and hand it to a cop and tell him Hi! Im a UERer thats why Im trespassing heres my card?

(Ok I know thats actually 3 questions no need to start a flame war over that now)

Heres my best advice so if this reply doesnt get deleted you may learn something.

1. dont get caught

2. if you do get caught dont make up b.s. stories (there may actually be a cop or security man somewhere that would buy your little credential ruse but I really really doubt it)

Showing your UER card when caught trespassing is like showing your local illegal street racing club's membership card when caught speeding

It's just stupid.
