Been following the site for a while but was unable to join due to AOL and my anti spyware program. I really enjoy all of your posts, 2X you go above and beyond, the projects.....rattlesnake aka pyote (you know what I mean), but all of your pics are VERY NICE.
But reason for the post is I have some locations I would like to share but I cant because they are too large. I downloaded Irfanview and tried to downsize them...to no avail. Please bear with me as I am a mechanic and not really a computer genius. So if anyone can please help I would greatly appreciate it! Really I only have a 7mp and a 6.1mp camera(s) so it cant be that hard.
Call me ignorant (I am quite ready for the sarcasm) but I take it in stride.

OR you can upload your pics to www.photobucket.com and you have the ability to edit them in there and resize with ease to specific sizes hope that helps!
For the record, all I can do is put gas and oil in my car, so don't feel bad  Cause we are all dependant on someone out there!

| | | | I'm about to post a set that I resized using Picasa. A little hackish, but pretty easy method:
* Select the pictures
* Use Folder/Export as HTML Page
* Select an appropriate size. I went for 800x600 and ended up with most underground pix under 100k. But some detailed pix came out too big and will need manual resizing.
* Pick a folder and export
* Upload the resized images from the "images" directory to UER

I second the photobucket.com option. It will allow you to upload the originals and it will automatically resize them for you. Photobucket also hosts the pictures for you for free.

BUT one thing that is BAD about PB is that it doesn't keep the original, it will resize your original and that's that. So make sure you backup your originals else where. but it is the easiest way if you aren't too familiar with resizing
