Most of the time I use the 35mm. Once I get around to it, I will sell the VR - I hardly ever use it. With some luck, I may be able to trade it for a decent 10/12mm. The camera purchase recommendation thread included lots of recommendations for canon and also lots for nikon but the lenses seem completely dominated by nikon. Canon users just not posting maybe? Are the Canon lenses just very expensive or do the camera users just not use lenses?? Namely a Canon 400d with the 18-55 and Nikon FM with 50mm f1.8 I would like to upgrade sometime in the future, a Canon 28mm f1.8 for the 400d to get a similar performance to the 50mm f1.8 on the Nikon for low light work, and a Canon 10-22mm for a proper wide angle.
