They're all decent, but I really like 1 and 4. The buildings look like small models in them, it's really interesting. I love the looks of trees in IR.

everyday i have off to go there are no clouds to be seen. and every time i do longer exposure times the trees keep going in the wind.

I hear ya man! I know your pain What are you shooting with? And what filter? I am assuming Hoya R72? Or did you just have a camera modded for IR?

shooting w/ a nikon d50 and an unknown IR filter. probably a hoya it says 950 on the side

The 950 is probably 950NM as in nanometers, which is a measure of length each nanometer is a billionth of a meter, the measurement is for one full light wave length. So the 950 is probably the filters capability.
If it's a Hoya, it's probably the R72. How long was your exposure time on those shots. I know with my 350D I have to have a VERY long exposure, because the damn IR Filter in the Rebel is so damn good that it demands long exposure times.

when i first thought about getting a DSLR i was thinking the xti but it was out of my range and now i see the xti has fallen in price alot. the d50 is still a great camera i enjoy it alot.

normally a 3sec at f5.6 or 8 but i like to fuck around and do 30sec just for shits and giggles.

It really depends on how how bright it is outside, I am usually between 200 and 400. Canon has a CRAZY Infrared blocker so it takes an extremly long exposure to get a good shot. I would like to get an old P&S Canon and remove the IR Glass aka MOD it for my IR shots.
