The only thing I can really say is that it looks like your using the b&w and sepia feature on your digi cam.. Take the photos in color and then use photoshop and convert them to b&w.. You will get a much better result.. Of course that just my opinion..


I like the subject in #3.. Needs a little work on composition..

not a bad set, composition could be better but that comes with practice. your strongest i think is the rollerskates, with the best contrast overall.

the clock one is reading a little flat for me, maybe work up the contrast a bit in photoshop if you can.

the stacked doors is not bad, perhaps a tighter crop on just the doors would be better visually, eliminating the blown out part in the right corner which draws the viewers eye away from what you want to be your focus...the doors. also a juiced up contrast will show the richness of the old wood of those doors a little more.

overall not a bad set, just practice and play with the images in photoshop if possible.
