Looks good!

Through the darkness of future's past
The magician longs to see
Once chants out between two worlds Fire, walk with me

well some people like you to use thumbnails but if you keep your pix at about 800 X 600 then no-one has to scroll back and forth unless they have a small desktop

plus then its easier to load for people who are on dialup

I will defeat that which was once untouchable only so that I may now move on

Do you really think we need such "backward compatibility" in the 21st century when the percentage of dialup users is disappearingly small and getting smaller day by day? On the other hand large LCD panels are becoming quite common nowadays, and if we retain the aforementioned backward compatibility too long, sooner or later the pictures people post are the size of a postage stamp.

I know that posting large pictures stretches the site layout and so on, but you could always post thumbnails...

As for the photograph, the technical quality for a black and white image is, apart from couple of over- and underexposed spots, excellent, but the composition could be better.
