| | | It's the best I could do with a little sony point and shoot, but I'd like to know what you guys think about them. I explored a small abandoned house near me, with Wood Post and another friend. Any criticism helps. I took these photos with a Sony DSC-W35. The hosting here is weird, so ill just link my flickr.

| | | Some interesting shots, I like that one picture of the bath tub hmm... I think I know where this place is or at least I've passed it before.

| | | The tub photo shows promise. Never blame cheap gear for bad photos. Get a tripod and use your point/shoot to the best of its ability.

| | | More importantly, kudos for making it into that place. People go for years walking by abandoned places without noticing them. Sometimes it takes not only guts but the ability to look where others don't. If you go in a second time and reshoot some of these, I bet you can do better with the same equipment. I'd especially like to see more pictures of the statue and the flowers.

| | | these are pretty sick for a first shot man way better than others ive seen from people who have some more experience i would invest in a tripod and just focus on composition, looks like you have a grasp on your exposures. just take your time and think long and hard before you push that shutter lines! lines! lines!

| | | Could you clarify on the lines? Also, I had a tripod with me, but as this was my first time i was a bit finicky about being there. I could literally step out of the window and be on a major road, so i didn't take as much time as I should have setting it up and whatnot. Not to mention the place was a tiny little house, so there wasn't as much room as I would have liked to work around my camera. I will most definitely take more time next time though. I'm hoping to make it to either another house, or an old police station, both within 20 minutes of me, before I go away to college.
